Swim Club News

1. The pool shall be used by authorized members and guests when officially opened and lifeguards are on duty.
2. Children under twelve (12) years of age must be accompanied by a person eighteen (18) years of age or older for admission to the pool, and that person must remain with the children during the entire time they are in the pool.
3. Only persons who can demonstrate their swimming ability to the lifeguards' satisfaction will be permitted in the deep water and/or diving area.
4. Children under four (4) years of age must wear rubber pants while in the pool.
5. Admission will be refused to anyone having communicable diseases, wearing bandages, or with skin abrasions, colds, coughs, extremely inflamed eyes, infections, open sores, excessive sunburn, nasal or ear discharges.
6. Spitting or spouting of water and acts of similar nature are strictly prohibited.
7. Smoking is not permitted.
8. No running, pushing, wrestling or causing undue disturbance in or about the pool.
9. When weather conditions dictate that the pool should be closed in the interest of safety, a lifeguard or manager shall have the authority to effect the closing.
10. The pool will be cleared of all people in the event of an emergency. The signal to evacuate the pool shall be three (3) blasts of the lifeguard's whistle or by the use of some other appropriate audible alarm.
11. Any person may be barred from the pool and/or lose privileges for violations of pool rules or for any other reason which constitutes a hazard to others.
12. Chairs may not be reserved. Chairs unused for more than thirty (30) minutes are subject to reassignment to others.

1. Only one (1) person at a time is allowed on the diving board.
2. Diving is only permitted after the previous diver has cleared the area below the board.
3. Diving shall be limited to the forward direction (not off to the sides of the board).
4. Excessive bouncing on the board is prohibited.
5. Immediately upon surfacing, leave the diving area so someone else may have the opportunity to use the diving board.

1. Only one (1) person at a time is allowed on the slide.
2. No pushing or shoving.
3. Before sliding, wait until the are in front of the slide is clear.
4. No sliding head first.
5. Do not swim in front of the slide.

1. Positively no alcoholic beverages allowed.
2. No glass containers of any kind are permitted.
3. No pets of any kind are permitted.
4. Only members of one household can be included in family memberships.
5. Only adult members (18 years or older) may sign in guests; they must remain with their guests.
6. Children under twelve (12) years of age are not allowed in the pool without an adult.
7. Freestate Swim and Family Activity Center is not responsible for loss or damage of any personal valuables.
8. Freestate Swim and Family Activity Center reserves the right to cancel guest privileges at any time.
9. Freestate Swim and Family Activity Center assumes no responsibility for accidents for injuries resulting from personal negligence.
10. Property damages or other expenses arising from violations of these rules by any member, member's child or member's guest will be charged to the responsible member for immediate payment.
